Absolutely breathtaking! My family recently spent a week at Bellmere Winds and it was really great. We, for the first time, rented a cottage in Phase 2. We missed the chance in renting near the lake, but Phase 2 (which is higher on the hill) did not disappoint. My kids had a pool which was just right for them (not much of a deep end) so we could sit and watch from our beach chairs. And it wasn't crowded which was great. The view of Rice Lake was absolutely gorgeous! And we had access to Phase 1 so we could move freely back and forth. I took time to go kayaking and had a wonderful time on the lake. It was so peaceful. We also took in some fireworks which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. My little girl is already asking to come back next year, and I am happy to oblige. Our cottage was really clean and we had no issues with the unit. The next plan would be to have a golf weekend with the boys. We truly had a wonderful time, the prices were affordable, and I believe any family going would have a great time too. See you next year Bellmere.

My family and I had a wonderful experience. The units were clean and equipped with all the appliances you need. I personally enjoyed the tranquility of the place, sipping coffee early in the morning with the wonderful view of rice lake. My brother and his friends enjoyed playing Golf. The splash pad/kiddie pool was also a hit for the kids :) will definitely recommend for families.
We visited here the past few summers, and have been very satisfied with our stay. Rice Lake is great for fishing and swimming or boating and jet-ski. Is a ton of fun and the resort is safe and kept clean and organized. The resort has been improving with a new gym and laundry room. Bring bug spray, and sunscreen, the Kawartha's are beautiful but deadly with regards to insects.
Tad pricey for the course. Biggest issue is that good shots are not rewarded on this course. If you stripe one down the middle then on several holes you will have a bunker directly between you and the green If your Tee shot is to either side of the fairway, you get a clear shot. Nice view on most holes though, and the people are very friendly.
First time at Bellmere. Starter was friendly. Course was in excellent shape for late October. Greens were not fast but consistent throughout the round. Would definitely return to Bellmere.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice pool. Growing resort. Nice sports court. Easy access to lake. Nice golf course. Laundry available. Fishing available too. Well maintained.
Great scenic course. Excellent value as well. Leave the pull cart at home. It is a very hilly course , particularly the front nine and the 18th hole . if they would improve some of the cart paths this could be a premium course.
Was just there looking at the resort packages, great prices.
