My wife and I walked the Spanish Moss trail during a recent stay in Kaslo and enjoyed this really nice walk through the forest. The initial portion of the trail was a fascinating walk through dark timber which I really enjoy and then it opened up somewhat for the later portion. Somehow we missed the sign that would have kept us on the the Spanish Moss trail for the full length so we stayed on a wider less interesting portion of the trail for the later half. Overall it is a nice walk if you have a couple of hours and are not looking for something to strenuous. The elevation gain is pretty minimal over the length of this trail. There is many trails in the True Blue area and we will try some others when back this way.

Strawberry Ridge is amazing, easy for kids, great views, and huckleberries everywhere.
Another perfect trails system, connected to the River Trails - or, you can park at the Airport to same a climb.
