I was here on a Friday night with a couple of friends. The food was very tasty, and there was a decent variety of options. The beer is from local microbreweries and is quite reasonably priced. Bring your own wine is also an option. The server was friendly and attentive; empty plates didn't stay on the table for long. I'll be back.

I was very pleased with the newly opened Viva International Buffet. I found the food to be a refreshing change from traditional buffets. Food was tasty, fresh and beautifully prepared. The chef at the roast beef carving station went out of his way to cook the meat to suit my request. This is a more upscale buffet with the dishes beautifully presented with items such as hand carved vegetables and orchid flowers. The beef bourguignon was incredibly tender, the asparagus spears were perfectly cooked. The setting is elegant and classy. The friendly owner, Victor, was working hard doing various jobs in the restaurant. I look forward to trying out lunch, brunch, and some of the theme nights. FYI, I am not related to the owner in any way...I am just a random stranger who had a wonderful meal at this new restaurant. And, as per a previous review...you did not eat the "muscles!" I would definitely go back!
My husband and I went here last Saturday after hearing good things about this restaurant. We were both very impressed with the food and the staff! We will be returning regularly and telling our friends about this place. It was well above the quality that you normally find at a buffet restaurant. Keep up the good work!
Absolutely one of the finest dinning experience ever. Everything that a fine dining restaurant offers in a chic casually relaxed atmosphere. The cuisine was perfect, with several choices - including the desserts! Your staff (Will, Chantal, Jacob, & Victor) provided a warm and inviting feeling, while still performing their job excellently. The restaurants decor is a nice balance to suit everyone, and staff keep it pristine.
I don't know why some people here said they hated it so much. We had a group of 6, without reservation, on a very busy Saturday, and they still managed to work out a seat for us, unlike a lot of other Centrum restaurants, which force you to wait for over half an hour. Though the selection was small, the quality made up for it. There were innovative, flavourful dishes, like maple salmon and hollandaise whitefish. The soft serve ice cream was also great. The staff are attentive and very welcoming.
The food was good and was replaced fast enough (would be better if they replaced food when there were only the dregs left, not after it was totally empty). The taste was of a higher end note over the usual cheaper buffet dining has to offer, but the price is what hurts the most. At most this should be 18 to 20 after tax, the 25 dollars is too much for their selection. I didn't try any beer but that looked well priced and had a very interesting menu (from local microbreweries?) I would go back for only drinks or if they drop their price about 20%
This place was really amazing. Great food, beautiful venue and ambiance. So much more than you expect from a buffet. Food 10/10 Location 9/10 Service 10/10
It's pricey, but well worth it. A buffet with less options than something like Mandarin, except that every option is super delicious. I will definitely be returning when I can afford it.
