An ice rink in the mountains, what more could you ask for?! Open to the public and free of charge. There are picnic tables, a couple small fire pits, and a platform to put on your skates. There's an outhouse right nearby if Nature Calls. Skate Rentals are available around the corner at Kananaskis Outfitters. There's a skating Pond in the Village Center as well if you don't plan on playing hockey. If lots of snow falls on the day you are coming out. The village maintenance staff have to clear the pathways and walking paths before they get to flooding, be ready to do some snow clearing and pack a shovel or two.
