A great getaway that is close by to calgary and suitable for families with kids. The views are amazing and the mountains air so refreshing. Friendly staff and doing their best during COVID restrictions and requirements.

A great way to spend some time! The staff are excellent and the setting is fantastic, take time to include a visit if you're visiting the Banff/Canmore area.
I went for a 2 hour trail ride at Boundary Ranch on September 23rd 2020. I was incredibly impressed with the entire experience (also considering the pandemic protocols). My guide (i’m blanking on name) was fantastic, informative and easy going. The horses were well broke and taken care of. I’ve been riding my whole life and often find it easy to give a harsh critique over trail ride experiences but this one was fantastic and I would recommend Boundary Ranch always.
It’s a nice experience (horse sleigh ride). I would say it’s great for older people or parents with younger kids. As there’s isn’t much moving or walking around...You will stay on the sleigh the whole ride. You get to see the buffalos, a teepee, drink hot chocolate and roast marshmallows. The place is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly. A bit expensive for what you get. It will be nicer if the trip is longer.
It's great experience with campfire, hot chocolate, sledge ride in forest. Amazing for kids. Warm and friendly staff, very accommodating.
