I rented a truck on Vancouver Island and dropped it off in Kamloops. The service at both ends was absolutely fantastic. Friendly and efficient and the truck was the perfect fit for me. Lazy, ignorant and disrespectful. This is how they rented us a truck. And when my wife asked what could be done about the snow she was told 'get a shovel'. I should have shoveled it into their front door. Keep searching, you'll find someone who will appreciate your business alot more. STAY AWAY!

I went in yesterday looking for an estimate for a moving van. I didn't ask for the name of the young lady who worked the counter but I was impressed. She had a young guy helping her at another counter. He was trying but needed help, she stepped in and helped him. I ended up getting an estimate that was detailed and fully explained, even though I will be renting from a Uhaul at another location. The store was super busy but she spent all the time I needed to get that estimate. I will go back and rent from Uhaul.

The mobile pick up option was completely futile. Once we completed the online forum, it asked us to click on the dashboard and select \pick up truck\ which didn't exist. We then had to go inside and do the entire process again. It was a Saturday morning, which I would think is the busiest time for uhaul, and they had one person working the front desk. We also had to provide our credit card online, again in store and again when we dropped off the truck. Additionally, when reserving the truck at no point did it indicate that we would be charged 100!! If we were late returning it. We had to call to inquire and find this out. This should be clearly communicated. I am extremely unhappy with our experience today and will be seeking out a different moving company the next time we need a truck.
