The few times I’ve been to Thompson Cleaners I have been utterly impressed with the professionalism and quality of workmanship. I’ve had a few items hemmed and tailored, and they came out exactly as I wished. If you’re in the Kamloops area and are looking for a cleaner or a tailor, this is the place to go.

I had the worst experience of my life with this place Thompson Cleaners & Tailors, they did not work on my wedding dress after having it 10 days there and they returned it to me saying that they could not adjust it, they made me wait 30mn in a chair to tell me this, for What didn't they tell me when I arrived and asked about my dress I don't know, negligence, unethical, no empathy, I don't know how to qualify them .. they had my cell number and they never called me to tell me anything and my wedding in 7 days, they knew my wedding date because I knew that there wasn't much time left. I almost went crazy with helplessness.
I have never been disappointed with Thompson Tailor! I am so glad to have found them after moving from Vancouver. As I am fairly petite - most of my clothes have to be taken in and refitted. I feel absolutely comfortable leaving my pricey clothes in Alex’s hands ! Many of my friends & family from the coast actually come to Alex for alterations now :) He really is a great tailor ! Takes pride in his work. I recommend him to everyone!
I brought in my 83 year old mothers wool hat to be dry cleaned. I go to pick up and he said he had problems with it puckering. I didn’t think anything about it until I took it out of the wrap and my mom couldn’t put it on. It shrank so much and the knitted flower in front was warped downward. OMG this guy would not take responsibility for ruining the hat which came from Italy. Would not even refund the cleaning cost. Never even apologized. He didn’t care. Worst customer service ever.
Great customer service from this hardworking team. My alterations have always been perfect. Will be back again!
