Jaymar doesn't know how to paint classic cars! Complete scam! He wanted more money always up front or he would stop working my car and go on to something else. I had my 1968 Camaro worked on by Jason Andrews at Jaymar Auto Restoration. He told me that this shop at 4625 Concession 3 was where he painted cars in a proper clean paint booth but instead he tried to paint mine at his other dirty disorganized shop at 5640 Mastwood Road where he does all his dirty cutting and welding work. He can't be trusted! The paint he put on my car was the wrong type, different shades, and full of dirt specks. He was too careless to mask properly before painting so he got over spray all over the frame, wheels, tires, inner fenders and dash. It looked like it was done by a kid. Other parts of my car that would not be seen after assembly he didn't paint at all. Shortcuts! He doesn't understand that unpainted parts will rust through the primer. He got totally confused about painting the Z/28 stripes even with a template that did all the work for him! He returned my car not assembled, unfinished and unpainted. He made such a mess of my car that his terrible quality work all had to be sanded off and started over by a true professional. Lies, deception, missed deadlines, and a lot of wasted time and money! Total nightmare experience!!

Jaymar is HIGH cost, POOR quality and many long delays! AVOID!! Jaymar made a mess of my 68 Camaro. He lost parts of my car like expensive fasteners, a front fender, bushings, brake parts and broke the crank pulley and a wheel stud. He never replaced any of them. He got parts of my car mixed up with other car projects. He tried to bill 3 times the labor hours saying his 2 buddies were working on the car too but there wasn't even enough work done to account for one person. It's a SCAM! When I wouldn't pay upfront he stopped working on my car and went on to other projects and stopped answering my calls. This is the address Jaymar used for Kijiji ads but the work was actually done at his other shop at 5640 Mastwood Rd. It's a dirty messy old building with parts of different cars all mixed up together. He does cutting, welding, grinding and tries to do painting all in the very same space. Welding is like Swiss cheese, seam sealer sloppy and mostly missing. Poor quality painting that is rough and full of dirt. This is NOT a restoration shop at all! BEWARE!
