Jasper National Park in the Canadian province of Alberta is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the Rocky Mountains. We visited this heavenly mountain resort in July 2019 by VIA Rail, and again in August of the same year by an organised bus tour. The scenery of the mountains and the flora and fauna of the national park is simply amazing. There are many outdoor activities and sight-seeing to be done and one can dream of coming here again and again.

The wind blows as the sun rises on Mount Edith Cavell, Jasper National Park - Alberta, Canada. The mountain was named in 1916 for Edith Cavell, a British nurse executed by the Germans during World War I for having helped Allied soldiers escape from occupied Belgium to the Netherlands, in violation of German military law. It was previously known as Mount Fitzhugh.
Jasper is beautiful! Living in Edmonton, I took my kids every six weeks or so growing up. They still have very fond memories of the times at Jasper. I go alone now that they are adults and it is my peaceful reflection place. Good for the soul ️
