One of the best place to study Dharma. Our teacher Geshe Trinly Gyatso was born in Tibet and at age 10, he joined the Jungpa Monastery in Tibet. When he was 20 years old he travelled by foot for 28 days and joined Sara Mey Monastery, one of the three great seats of learning centers. At this monastery Geshe Gyatso undertook 24 years of uninterrupted study of the entire monastic curriculum of the five Great Treatises as well as Vajrayana path. At the completion he was awarded the highest order of Geshe Lharampa (Ph'd dr. of divinity) and Ngagrampa (Tantrayana) degrees of the first levels. He taught at the Monastery for four years before coming to Calgary to be the resident teacher of Jam Tse Cho Ling Tibetan Buddhis Temple of Calgary. His qualifications are evident at every teaching. We are truly fortunate to have him here in Calgayr.
