We purchased a monument from Hutchins Monuments in a Red Granite and it took a number of weeks as it was a custom order and we could not have been more pleased, the knowledge and experience of the memorial artists reflect in their work. We would highly recommend Hutchins Monuments.
Very disappointed in Hutchins monuments. My mom passed away in November of 2016 and I contacted Hutchins monuments to do the inscription for her date of death. I was told that it was too late in the season and they would be doing inscriptions again the following spring. I would get a call and the inscription would be done by mothers day. I received no phone call and the inscription was not done. So I called again in May to find out they had no record of me calling. I expressed my disappointment no apologies were offered. My information was taken again and I was told I would receive an invoice in the mail and the inscription would be done by father's day. After two weeks I had not received any invoice so I called them again. That lady who answered the phone had no answers but said she would look into it. If the invoice hadn't been sent they would email me an invoice. I received an emailed invoice. I printed the invoice and drove from Sarnia to Leamington with the invoice and payment. I was told then that \hopefully\ the inscription would be completed by father's day because the guy who usually does it was on modified duty so she wasn't sure the other guy would get it done. I expressed my disappointment, frustration and my feelings of needing closure. No apologies were offered, no discount, nothing. Just hopefully it will be done by father's day and I would receive an emailed receipt once the inscription was complete. This company chipped my parents tombstone when they completed my dad's inscription 6 years ago and now this. They have terrible customer service, no compassion for the feelings of their customers and no remorse for their incompetence. I would not recommend them to anyone.
