Please support this business. My experience here was fantastic. I made a purchase and in unpacking it I broke one piece. I returned the next day to replace it, and was so completely shocked and unbelievably surprised when they replaced the item at no cost!! Who does that?? Thank you so much again, and I will make sure to recommend your store to all of my friends and acquaintances!!

Year ago I bought a Christmas plates for 10 people incl. dinner plates, soup plates etc. Because it was after Christmas, I simply put everything away without checking. When I brought my china out begin of December, I couldn't find one box including 6 soup plates. I was thinking that I misplaced them and just can't find it and I will look for them later. Couldn't find them later either. I visited the House of Villeroy and Boch on West Broadway in Vancouver yesterday and just out of curiosity asked if them maybe had any plates left there a year ago. To my surprise the gentleman (I believe he is the owner) reached behind him and got my plates with the note on it that customer forgot it there. He was apologizing that they couldn't find who it belongs to. He apologized over and over, even though it was my mistake. The whole year they kept my stuff in hope I will show up one day. It made my day. This is a excellent customer service. A great value for a small local store. Thank you very much. P.S. As I'm reading the other reviews, I see some bad ones for online orders. This shouldn't be on the site of this store, it should be on Villeroy & Boch Canada or wherever it was ordered from. This store shouldn't be punished with bad reviews for the main corporation. Comments should be placed where they belong. Reviews can damage small business and this one definitely doesn't deserve it. The products here are great quality and service is awesome!
We went to Villeroy & Boch to purchase dinnerware for my wife's birthday. Brieta was very helpful and patient, suggesting mix and match pattern options to suit what my wife was looking for. We ordered our place setting for 10 - plus some serving bowls and platter - today and they may just all arrive in time for her actual birthday!
A cheat eCommerce seller. They attract customers with fake sale and then cancel the orders at their convenience. Shareholders are shown rosy picture that all is well, whereas it isn't. Dump the stock as they are using cheap tricks to bump their sale numbers. They clearly mention in order confirmation email that once order goes into the system they cannot change or cancel it, then how come are they able to cancel the order after 3 days when it's time to ship!! Cheats!
Great place to buy gifts!
Avoid Villeroy & Boch. They don't honor the pricing on their website, instead they cancel orders a week later and give a pathetic token coupon code that anyone could trivially obtain. Their prices & margins are so high to begin with that you need at least 50% off to be getting a fair price. Their goods are overrated and their ugly logo is slapped on everything.
Put order in using a promo code only to have it cancelled a few days later stating it was an incorrect promo code even though I got a order confirmation. Company then provided a pathetic 10% off code as a way of saying sorry. You can get 10% off by just signing up to their newsletter! Terrible! Stay away from this company which has no follow through and won't honor a promo code.
