Took the family here for the wifes birthday. It was our first time going and Candace, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. I called in advance and booked the party room which was nice for our group of ten. I wouldn't say it is highly overpriced, but it isn't cheap for the pieces either. If you are concerned about cost I would definitely recommend going on a discount night or picking some of the pieces that are on sale. Overall it was a fun place to do something creative as a group. We will definitely go back.

So sad and disappointed been in tears over this. I have been coming here for awhile and have spent a lot on pottery to paint myself or for my daughter to paint. Have done girls nights with friends and play dates here. Unfortunately my last 6 items that I painted have had to go straight into the trash. Never had a problem before but seems like since new ownership things went down hill bad. All my items have had pooled spots of glaze, chips, scratches over the glaze or paint didn't cover properly. They say to use 3 coats but when I did with the glitter paints looks see thru, splotchy etc. Tried a little extra paint which I ensured was even all over and still did same thing. My friends have reported to me that they have had same problems. We tried out Color Me Mine and everything came out great. The atmosphere has changed as well. I even have to take paint jars to bathroom and clean them out and get new clean water. This happens even when not busy. Brushes aren't cleaned out properly always finding old paint in them. At Color Me Mine they interact nicely with you, change your water when it needs it, makes sure you know they appreciate you being there and make sure you are happy with how your item turned out. I spent 8 hrs and 70 on my recent project and looks awful see pictures. I was told that if my recent item also came out badly I would be reimbursed but when I came in today they would only give me 50% off an item. Maybe lots of kinks to work out with new ownership but unfortunately I don't have time and money to throw away while this happens. So sad this happened to this place it used to be so great but left with no choice but take business to other pottery place.
I've come here a few times and have enjoyed painting various items including a tea pot, tiles and a plate. The staff are lovely and there is decent selection. I would do it more often but I find it a little pricey.
Had so much fun here. Brittney at the counter was so helpful. I will definitely go back! It would be easy to become addicted. I now have so many projects in mind. Canisters, a tea set, the pasta bowls, platters, giant popcorn bowls.... I want to make them ALL! I really loved that it was a little more "adult" then the other place. Don't get me wrong, kids are welcome and were there but it seemed less chaotic. And the staff was incredibly helpful.
Really tried to give this place my business. Called more than 10 times and left messages, they never picked up and never returned my calls. Just wanted some basic information. Terrible service. Went to color me mine instead and had a great experience.
My boyfriend and I went here last weekend. We had a blast, we lost track of time and spent 3 hours on our peices we were having so much fun. A cute and creative way to spend an afternoon, and then you have a wonderful keepsake. The workers and the owner are really nice as Well!
Amazing experience, amazing staff! I have been coming for years there’s always something new and fresh. I now also love bringing my daughter along to make new memories! Highly recommended! ️
Love taking my kiddo here. Awesome location. Great, warm atmosphere. Fun party room, excellent staff. I love supporting our local, small businesses in Red Deer. Looking forward to our next visit!!
