An ample amount of food, platters are true to word with how many people it feeds. The food was tasty. The downfall for me was when they gave us the serving Utensils it was given to us a metal bucket where you put the compost. The utensils was touching the bottom of the pail which the pail had rust.

It's always a treat going to the Hog Shack - been going for almost ten years now. The Shack has plentiful portions, competition-quality BBQ, well-made/good selection of drinks/local beers, and friendly service - all served in a laid-back and rustic atmosphere. Their menu also features cool specials, so that keeps things interesting! John, Allan, Tatiana, and the rest of their team have made this a must-go spot for BBQ in the Lower Mainland!
Great food. Great value. Everything was tasty. Homestyle vibes. You definitely have to try this place out at least once if you are in Steveston.
