Yum. Service, atmosphere and food were great. They give you extra noodles when you eat in. Def going to be on our go-to list. Their popcorn chicken is seasons with lemon, great flavour surprise. A group of us went and we were all happy with what we got. The spicy is very spicy. My bro toned down his spicy choice and was happy he did.
Review based off ordering food from the Chowbus app. I've dined in at the Scarborough location so I knew that I wanted to have the chicken and mushroom noodles again. The takeout portion of noodles was PLENTY, had enough to eat twice from it. I love the mushrooms it's so juicy and flavorful. I always get mild/no spice because even a little is too much for me! I also got the peach yakult drink, I liked it. Also, they package the utensils in a cute branded wrapping which was very nice.
COVID stage 3 in store visit. I was not very impressed. There was a 1.5 COVID fee on top of the usual price. However, service and food quality decreased compared to the takeout I have gotten from other locations (e.g. Richmond Hill store). The spicy level was not at all accurate. I usually get the hot and sour potato noodles with pork ribs, medium spicy and less numb. This time, I got the same, but for some reason, it was extremely spicy to the point that there was really no other flavour I could taste. All of my friends got their usuals, and found them to be way more spicy than expected. They do give noodles refills, but seems to just give the egg noodles without checking what time of noodles we had (which were the potato noodles) There was also an error in the food, even though we ordered through the app and there should have been no issues with transcribing our orders. The improvements made from pre-pandemic was that we were able to order through the app, so we didn't have to talk to a server at all. We also could pay by credit card for amounts less than 20. Overall, I was quite disappointed in the food I received at this location.
Love how prompt they are in getting the food prepared at the right time for pick up. The food is always great and I've never had an issue. Service is friendly and they've been following all COVID protocols within the restaurant for pick up!
