There are certain places you go to even if you have to awkwardly sit on a busy street to slurp up the goodness, that’s Hey Noodle. (Also would not recommend greeting the employees by yelling Hey Noodle) Our first time there we got the highly recommended Noodles with beef brisket in Suāncài pickle soup. Being able to pronounce this, not a requirement for ordering. Also don’t be fooled, it’s not like slurping a bottle of dill pickles, they’re like professionally pickled adding acidity to the dish. Foolishly, we ordered kinda hot, medium numb level.. which easily translates to lip fillers, body sweats and runny noses. It’s hot. Was it delicious, yes? Did we get all the toppings? Yes. The fresh roasted peanuts were the best topping, with the soy egg coming in a close second. The broth, delicious, made it feel like my cars heat worked. But the brisket?! Melt in your mouth, you don’t even need your dentures, run don’t walk.. order from the Dundas Location because I told them I’d tell everyone about them. Feel free to drop my name when you order, it won’t do anything but I’ve always wanted it to.

So far, this is the best hongkong style noodles restaurant I have ever had. We got Szechuan noodle, Tomato with pork ribs and they all tasted amazingly. The flavor was savoury, the service was excellent! Highly recommend for people who are looking for a authentic Hongkong style beef noodles soup. And one more note, if you guys cant eat spicy, order no spicy. Otherwise you will need many water bottles to balance it. But for me, it is the best noodles in Toronto. Must try!!!!!!

It's a small, cozy place. Inside the decor is nice. Servers are nice. Because it's small, lines can be long if it is busy. Delicious noodles and broth. Really like the free refill on noodles. Recommend getting normal/extra soup if you plan to do refills.

The place is clean, and have very good covid measures in place: plexiglass divider shielding each table from the aisle. Ordering is all done using an app. It gives you detailed options to customize your dishes. First time using this at a restaurant, quite handy. The cold cucumber dish, and crispy salty chicken were both pretty good. The regular spicy level for the chongqing street noodles was very spicy! If you don't eat Chongqing food regularly, I would suggest starting with a mild spicy first... Service was good! My husband got the wrong type of noodle in his order, first. But they changed the order immediately, after we told them.

Getting way more expensive now but the quality and taste are worth it!
