We live an hour and a half away. We have driven from home to the Ranch for breakfast and sometimes for supper. The food is so good. Staff are very friendly and make sure your coffee cup is full. We have told so many people to stop there to eat when travelling to Toronto. The place is always clean. Thank you Ranch staff.

Good food, but greetings at the door can be improved! We didn't know this place and stopped by because we saw many cars parked in the front (which is a good sign when you are a stranger in town!). When we arrived, had the same experience as many of one-star reviewers! We felt that we are not really welcomed as I had to call the waitresses who were chatting one meter away from us to offer us a seat!!! But when they finally furnished us with their attention, then, things started to improve!!! Our hostess was nice and friendly, we got our food as ordered and timely. The meals were delicious and portions were generous. Coffee and apple pie was excellent and at the end, the bill was correct (food items are reasonably priced too). One other interesting thing: There are many beautiful paintings on the wall for sale. I have to add that the restaurant was tidy and washrooms were clean. In general we were happy with our experience there, and will go again if we pass by in future.

When we first moved up here 5 years ago, this place was amazing. They had servers that cared, the food was delicious, affordable, but the last almost 2 years, The Ranch has gone way downhill. I went from highly recommending it to everyone, to becoming thoroughly disappointed. Between less than polite staff, answering phones and getting put on hold and being fogotten about but can't call back because they can't find the phone to hang it back up, to missing the drinks with our orders, I'm not sure what happened to The Ranch. I used to love it there, but will start ordering from elsewhere.
Great service. Great food but noticed they are starting to cut off on the quantity of food you get. A glass of chocolate milk that used to be big and sufficient is now small and not satisfying for the 2.00 it costs !!!!!!
