A well organized place with good lighting and nice music. Also you will find some tables and chairs allowing you to set up before your skate. The place has two rinks with limited number of skaters which made me feel comfortable in Covid times. It is a place with a friendly customer service. Definitely I will back!!

There are several rinks in the area including: Trinity bellwood, Nathan Phillips, and the bentway. This rink has a hockey playing area and a free skate area next to it. With the pandemic, there are double the reservation spots to skate (two sections) Parking is a little tricky... Note the complex names to the different areas... The outdoor pool is \Alexandra swimming pool\... The indoor pool is \scadding court\... The skating rink is another name.... This makes looking up online info a little complicated on the city website.... As of Jan 2021 there are a lot of tents in the area. If you come just for the skating you should be fine. Suggest writing to the city councilor to have them consider alternate options for finding homes to the people living in tents. The conditions in parks are not conducive to long term tent living and reduce the space for people to walk through when most activities are cancelled (ie city programming, gyms, etc)
