My boyfriend and I, called short notice on a Friday evening for a Saturday trail ride and Jean at South Algonquin Trails accommodated us immediately and agreed to a 2 hour private trail ride. They ended up calling in the morning to let us know the weather was going to be extremely hot during our scheduled ride, and asked if we would prefer to change to a better time, which we did and were beyond thankful for. Jean was our guide, and was such a delight, answered any and all questions, and made some great conversation, but also really let us enjoy the beautiful and peaceful trails. Additionally our horses were so well behaved, which made for an even better ride! We will absolutely be back, Thanks Jean & Staff of South Algonquin Trails!!
All the guides are so knowledgeable and friendly. The horses were all very well taken care of and I always felt safe. Will definitely be coming back!
This is such a people person, community oriented place! The staff are fantastic, the horses are well loved and cared for and the riding is great! Recommend this place to one and all!
Highly recommend this place! The ranch is well kept the horses are well kept well trained I had an amazing instructor named Jean she took my six-year-old daughter and I who have never been on a horse out through the trails for 3 and 1/2 hours. Not saying that everyone can just hop on a horse but she did a great job teaching we ended up being Naturals and it was a lot of fun. If you're passing through I would take the time to hop on a horse even if it's your first time. All the girls are super nice super helpful really nice atmosphere. And there washrooms are the best in the area! Thank you girls thank you Jean we had a wonderful time we'll see you next year
