First time at this Venice beach and wasn’t a huge fan. The customer service wasn’t good. Due to covid you had to wait outside(understandable), while waiting outside they didn’t call names as the orders are completed. They just took whomever was next in the line. The issue was when my boyfriend got to the front, they tried making him go back in line because he hadn’t done an order online. However, we had previously called to do an order over the phone in which they didn’t let us but said we could come in or order online. Because we had to make special requests we just decided to go in. Once full filling our order the portions were small in comparison to the Venice on paramount and the salad had literally a baby handful of lettuce. I prefer an equal portion of lettuce and veggies.

We have been using Venice Beach for the last few years. They have been our go to pizza place in this neighborhood. Tonight was probably the worst customer service to date, the owner himself is a very sweet man and its definately heart breaking the staff is so rude. We used there website to place an order, 75, the order says it did not go through however my bank account shows the money was taken. We call the restaurant and the owner said to come in, he would make the order and we prove the money was taken. We arrive, bank statement in hand. Firstly we are greeted by a young lady washing the floor maskless, she rolls her eyes. We approached the counter and the owner says his daughter claims the order did not go through. He asks us to speak to his daughter, Lindsay, as he had explained she handles this side of the business. Her attitude and tone of voice was unacceptable. Arguing that the money was not taken, when we are showing them proof it was. After getting a snotty attitude, we left empty handed and negative over 75. I called my banking service and had the claim looked into, they made 2 attempts to take out the payment. The first payment blocked, the second attempt worked. My bank is now dealing with the issue and getting our refund handled. I understand technology isn't always perfect, the attitude from staff members however was not needed. Lost a long time customer due to Lindsay.

Venice Beach was better when they stayed in their original place because when we would get the pinapple chicken pizza the chicken would be really juicy and yummy at their original place but ever since they moved it has been a bit too dry so now we get the plain pinapple cheese pizza and poutine without chicken but not gonna lie I never liked the chicken in the poutine it was just no my cup of tes. Overall its good just wish the chicken wasn't so dry.

Pizza is always made really well, and fast, but I didn’t like the falafel. The wrap was thick and the falafel itself was super dry and then drenched in sauces.
