Guy refuses to give prices over the phone. Expects you to come in and “find out the price” ridiculous. You’re a place of business and I’m a customer looking to buy a product, let me know the price of something. I’m not trying to drive 40 mins just for you to tell me a certain price. This is why LCS are dying to online retailers. Also, makes me suspicious on him giving special rates to certain people. Completely rude, do not recommend this place.

I went in with items I had very little knowledge about, and wanting to sell them if they were verified to be the real deal. The owner was knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and fair!! He offered his time and expertise to an interaction that had nothing in it for him. In the end, the items I had were the real thing and he bought them from me for more than a fair price. The store is full of goodies..there’s something for everyone. I am telling everyone I know to check out Rookies..it hits all the marks: great selection, very knowledgeable and honest owner, and top shelf customer service. I would have given10 stars out of 5 if I could have!! Thx again Rookies!!...YOU'RE THE BEST!!

Although an great shop with the best prices in Hamilton and really good stock, I had a bit of a weird experience the other day with the owner and its left me a bit uneasy to return. I was there on Friday and purchased a high demand product and another product that had a great price. He asked me “did your buddy send you?”, I said yeah, cause my friend told me he had this high-demand product in. He replies “tell him I’ll remember that”. Long story short, I was assumed to be buying stock for another person, which was not the case at all. Like I said, a really great store, but this interaction has turned me off. Im a collector, I dont want to be assumed a reseller, nor do I think its fair for him to ask customers if someone sent them, regardless of if that was the case or not. I’ll eventually come back to support a local business and great prices, but at the moment, this interaction has left a sour taste in my mouth.
