Staff and customer service are great, online order for store pick up took too long to process. I ended up going in-person the next day and called in for a refund. Wouldn't expect under 24 hour turnaround on that right now system seems behind other retailers. After I purchased the stuff I wanted I got a phone call telling me it'd been purchased before I could even call in a refund, so go in person if you see low quantities especially.

Something for everyone. Everything is laid out well, things are relatively easy to find. But if you can't find it, there was always someone able to help. The staff are knowledgeable, and very friendly. Products are great, but if you have a problem Princess Auto Guarantees: \No sale is final until you’re satisfied\. Amazing, I love this place.

Well stocked store. Generally friendly staff. Has a great selection in the misc/bargain bin area. Lots of sale items in stock. The only gripe I have is that some staff seem bothered to be asked a question. I worked in retail for many years. Besides stocking shelves and chatting with your coworkers, you’re also expected to help customers locate stuff. Usually a very good shopping experience if you can self-locate what you need.

A great assortment of tools and equipment. A perfect place for jack-of-all-trades type guys. Some professional grade tools, most is home hobby grade. Lots of supporting materials for projects. Get on the flyer sales quickly; they often sell out.

Treasures here Repair planes, boats, bicycles, cars, rental properties, trailers, landscaping... from parts purchase here Princess Auto Wrecking, the predecessor to Princess Auto, was started in 1933 on Princess Street in Winnipeg. In 1942, Harvey Tallman, who had sold his truck, purchased the company. Originally the business was entirely local and involved dismantling used cars and selling parts to garages. After World War II the business expanded to selling army surplus items and producing various products. In 1951, Princess Auto produced their first mail order catalogue; by the middle of the 1960s the catalogue was available throughout Canada. As the company grew, it was moved to Fort Street and later to Panet Road, the current site of Princess Auto's headquarters and one of the company's two Winnipeg stores.
