Great place to work! You are recognized for your hard work and you get to work with amazing and talented people. Safety is Heddle Shipyards’ most important everyday project.

Heddle Shipyards was a great place to work. Its a great place to utilize your own knowledge and learn from the other very talented tradesmen. I consider myself very fortunate to have had the oppurtunity to work for Heddle Shipyards and have great respect towards the management and my fellow coworkers and supervisors because it was very team orrientated and in an environment that can be very intimidating there was always someone that you could speak to if you were unsure of your duties or the necessary actions required to complete a task. Working at Heddle Shipyards was about doing the best work you could acheive with keeping safety a priority. Thank you for the work experience and I wish the best for the companies future endeavours.

They are disgusting! They are sanding their ships in the bay by our house. Gross red paint covered the water. Port authority and the ministry is now involved.

Heddle Shipyards dumped a large quantity of paint into Hamilton Harbour in September 2020. Such a disgraceful thing to do. Hamilton residents can only hope that these environmental criminals received hefty fines plus cover the cost of clean-up

Was injured due to un safe working conditions, I now have chronic pain and I can't use my leg properly anymore. But great people to work with and they did an amazing job getting me off the boat without injuring my knee and ankle more. Great staff but saftey WAS an issue. I'm not there anymore because I can't walk properly for the rest of my life and I'm only 38. I have a torn meniscus and a torn anterior calcanefibular legament. My options now are surgeries. But I lost my life as I am an athlete. If the employees weren't so nice I'd give them a 0 for employment.
