I was pleasantly shocked considering the covid season we are in and how close this place is to a jail. Went in with no mask (yes I'm legally exempt), The clerks that observed me were fully aware of it because none have said a word about a mask. The only thing that did was the announcement system to everyone, but I don't think the employees at this location can help control the announcements. Also, the aisles are very wide which allows those who want to be cautious to go around people much easier. And to top it all off, despite me passing a few cop cars earlier on the streets, I had NO complaint against me. I should add.... the prices are not that expensive. Well done food basics! You deserve more income as you treat all people (including those that legally cannot wear a mask) with respect.

Very good shopping experience cashier's are really mistreated by lots of the customers there despite that they still smile and great you with respect.. Store should hire a better security guard everytime I have gone in he is paying no attention to anything but his phone. They have been doing very well trying to keep the shelf stocked up since people are still hording and buying them out of products

Fantastic staff, great fresh vegetables, store is always spotless.congratulations all round. I cycle to grocery shop , theres a camera at the bicycle rack, which is a plus...the rack is better than most but I believe the store should replace it, please upgrade... Better lighting around the bike rack too...

They're rearranging the store (milk is in a bunker back left btw) The selection is still awesome and the international aisles (all 3) are incredible. Friendly cashiers too.
