Updating my 5 star rating from 3 years ago down to 1. No communication to members during pandemic but they are excellent at taking annual fee and monthly membership when they are open. Following their guidelines to cancel I've completed online request form 5 times for someone to contact me. No response. Phone number always says their mailbox is full. I will probably have to go there to cancel which defeats social distancing. I'll give them 5 stars for distancing from communicating with their customers.

In the Hamilton Mountain, Upper James, They open the earliest during this covid-19. Staff and owners setup very professional Staff is very welcoming. Local supports local anything that goes wrong you ought to give a heads up

WARNING: Unfair Cancellation Policy The province has been under lockdown since Dec 26 of 2020. They reopened on Feb 18 of 2021. I went to cancel the membership on Feb 24, and I have been informed that I would have to pay an annual fee (60) on top of a monthly fee to cancel. The assistant manager stated that I, as a customer, should have been proactive and sent them an email during their closure. She said this should be a learning experience for me. More importantly, they never communicated anything about the cancellation policy nor the recurring annual fee during the pandemic, other than that all billing would be suspended during closure and that the balance of this month would be issued back. So why am I paying both the annual fee monthly fee to cancel, when I have not even used their gym this year at all & most of last year because they were closed?

This gym is honestly trash. Take all your money during a pandemic even though they have been closed for months will still charge you an annual fee. You are so much better off going to Fit 4 Less. Charged over 200 and the gym has only been available to me 2 weeks. Staff there lie to you when asked what you will be charged. No one knows what they’re doing, it’s a mess. Also staff member downplayed the pandemic and told me people were overreacting to the flu.

Black mold on the ducts and ceilings and it's always stuffy inside They don't seem to care about updating the old building [no fault to the manager, mostly corporate] They have old dirty rags instead of paper towels which I wouldn't mind but they need new rags. Good luck going between 430-730 because it's jam packed, hard to breathe and I had to park across the street a few times during then.
