One of the newer buildings for the Faculty of Humanities. It’s also known as the “Stream Dr. Backup Parking Lot.” That’s because once you drive in the University, on Sterling St., there’s a one-way loop (Stream Dr.) around Parking Lot B and Lot C. Since the first digital parking sign for those two lots are usually incorrectly displayed, you risk it by committing into the one-way loop to see if there are available spots. If both lots are full, just as you exit Stream Dr., you get a couple more chances at parking. One by the Church (Lot A) or the underground lot at L.R. Wilson. The lobby is new and bright, but it’s a lot of empty space. It could use more couches, tables, or bean bags. The place also feels empty since there’s no café open there. Otherwise, the classrooms are a good size, but feel that it was not well put together. Front doors or some walls seems to show at lot more wear-and-tear than expected. Like someone who aged too quickly and didn’t age well either. Finally, the research being done here, especially the Advanced Research in Experimental and Applied Linguistics (ARiEAL) is very insightful. New building doesn’t mean new staff, so you can find their rating on other sites.
