Disappointing Vital statistics customer service experience. I have been following up with them for last 2 months for a mistake in my document. They only say scripted answers, rather than provide any service to customers.

The Vital Statistics office that WAS in Bayers Lake has moved to downtown Halifax Maritime Centre.

Had to get an urgent birth certificate and the staff were very helpful in outlining the steps which ultimately led to them issuing it the next day. Very satisfied by the service!

There were some serious mistakes on the documents they mailed me (both mom and baby's names were spelled wrong) but when I went into the office, not only were the people super helpful, and sweet, and understanding of my confusion, but they also worked to finish and complete the documents on the spot! Very happy with the in-office experience.

I payed for my new birth cerificate in sept, it is now December and they have denied me access to my birth cerificate, because i wont send in someone elses identification. Terri has now sent me back a refund and told me i can not have my birth certificate, unless if i steal and send in someone elses. What a joke.

Terrible customer service.. been waiting since we may to get my some birth certificate since we moved to a new province. We have nothing but rude and terrible on going ecpexperie. I'm appalled and so overwhelmed with vital statistics.

By the time this office sends me my replacement birth certificate after all the hoops have been jumped through, I’ll be needing a death certificate instead. What do they DO ALL DAY?
