I had my LASIK surgery yesterday, and my vision is already better than it was before with glasses. The cost was exactly what they’d quoted me during my virtual consultation beforehand. My eyes felt very dry for a few hours after the procedure, but I did not have any pain. Dr Lewis and all of the clinic staff were great. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about LASIK!

Life changing!! My prescription was on the weaker side, but after following the protocols they have in place after 24 hours my vision is better than 20/20! Would highly recommend, great staff as they are very thorough with explaining what needs to be done and how to do it! For anyone hesitating on getting this done, at least book one of the free consultations and get the info you need to make a decision. It will be well worth your time!
Why didn't I do this years ago? I have worn glasses/contacts for 26 years and I hesitated for years to get this done. The staff at LASIK MD Halifax were phenomenal. They took the time to explain everything and make sure that I was well informed every step of the process. The staff were very knowledgeable and professional. You can really tell that they are passionate about helping people. At no point in the process was I made to feel pressure to get the procedure done. Dr. Darrell Lewis took the time to explain every step of the surgical procedure and made me very comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. The after effects for me were no worse than having contact lenses in too long. Some of the drops were slightly uncomfortable for the first night, but no problem the next day. I can't believe how clear and crisp my vision was, even the next day. Thanks to LASIK MD, my vision is now better than 20/20. If you have been thinking about laser vision correction, stop waiting and book a consultation.
Absolutely recommend Lasik MD in Halifax. They were very attentive and made sure that this was the right choice for me. The first time I went through the process, they encouraged me to wait a little longer. The second time once we were 100% sure this was the vision correction I wanted, they were so encouraging and helpful with picking the package I wanted. The optometrist was excellent at reassuring me before my surgery. The surgeon was quick and excellent. I now have better than 20/20 vision and very very minimal side effects.
