I purchased a dining room table and chairs. I found the selection in the store very good. A lot of other places I looked would have one or two tables and a catalog book, but I wanted to actually see the table (or at least something similar) before I bought it. The staff were friendly, helpful, and gave us space to browse without feeling pressured. The workmanship on the table and chairs we bought was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable for solid wood furniture.

Although not yet completely settled in our new home, Joe at Kvadro Furniture made purchasing a new dining table and chairs a pleasure. His advice and suggestions were so appreciated that after delivery of our new set we returned to Joe for the purchase of a sideboard to finish the dining space. We ordered a beautiful dining set which arrived in April 2019. After about 6 uses, the front on the backs of the chairs show very visible dents where the chit meets the table. On top of this, ONE TIME we moved a chair into the living room as extra seating during the holiday season. It was situated near the wall. The top of that chair became visibly scraped/worn. When I email Kvadro I got a response that I needed to call a furniture repair person. I immediately called and was told furniture isn't made to rub against things. It was my problem. I explained that this is normal furniture use - pushing chairs back into the table after dinner and sliding a chair into a living for extra seating during the holidays. I was, in a condescending tone, told again that he's never seen this before and people don't push chairs into thier table. Hahahaha. Where is this guy living??? I don't recommend. This furniture won't last 5 years, let alone a lifetime.
Nothing but good to say about this store. Joe and his wife are always a pleasure to deal with. Excellent service and impeccable quality, 5 stars all the way. I would 100% recommend kvAdro furniture to anybody that is looking for heirloom quality furniture.
Bought a complete King-sized bedroom set for my new house. The buying experience was very easy and stress-free, no pushy salespeople hovering around while I looked at the merchandise. Joe let me spend as much time with the catalogue and the furniture as I needed, gave me quotes on the spot. They have samples of every stain available which really helped me pick out an option. Of course this furniture is expensive, but it will last more than a lifetime. Truly these are heirloom pieces, and in the dozen other furniture shops I visited in HRM, nothing came close. The delivery timing was exactly what was quoted (even during Covid), and everything was brought in safely and assembled on the spot. I've had the furniture now for the past 2 months and it's exquisitely well-made.
The sales approach is low key, exact quotes are available on the spot with rapid comparisons of all options and their respective prices. The quality of the product is better than anything I have seen from any other furniture dealer as it is custom made to order from solid wood. Delivery takes a while but it is worth the wait. Delivery is by a relative of the owner and is very professional, mats on the floor, complete assembly, not a scratch or spot anywhere. I cannot suggest any improvements, which is rare.
I have purchased three pieces of custom furniture from Kvadro Furniture and Kitchens to date and they are my three favorite pieces of furniture in my home. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful quality furniture. Plus the service is awesome!
