We spent a couple hours here on Saturday night and it was amazing. Our waiter Sean was so awesome and fun. Let’s just say we had lots of laughs. Food was superb as always and the wine flowed freely. Definitely going back next time we’re up in the city. Dale & Tanya.

I don’t write many reviews, but when a place makes an impact on me I like to share my thoughts. My wife and I enjoyed our 12 year anniversary at Da Maurizio and we wouldn’t change a thing. The atmosphere was nice, the waiter was accommodating and the food was spectacular! The fresh calamari was soft and delicious. The main courses were to die for. I can go to heaven happy now after having that meal. The desserts were also amazing. I had pistachio and chocolate gelato and my wife had the dark chocolate mousse. You HAVE to try both. Best fine dining experience we have had in a long time.

A truly five star dining experience. This past Saturday evening our dinner enjoyed at Da Maurizio was nothing short of spectacular. Our server was extremely friendly, perfect table placement for a quiet evening, and absolutely phenomenal food. Compared to other restaurants in Atlantic Canada, da maurizio simply beats them in ever aspect. A real experience of dinning.

Such a nice dining experience. The waiter Kelly was super friendly and knowledgeable about the drink menu and food menu. Service was fantastic. The atmosphere was great . Food was delicious. Definitely a place I'd like to go to again . Money well spent .

The ambiance and food was great but the desserts... amazing! The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because my girlfriend and I only ate half our main course because we wanted to save some room for dessert. The waiter took our food and wrapped it up for us or maybe he didn’t Im not sure but on our way home we realized we never got our food back... The waiter was very kind nothing wrong with our service Im just very disappointed that we won’t get to enjoy the rest of our meal:( especially since I had left 3/4 of my food to enjoy at work the next day

I don't do fine dining very often so when I do, everything from the food, service, location and attention to detail is very important to me. I made a reservation 2 or 3 days beforehand and I asked if they ever had fresh oysters. It isn't on their menu so I thought I would just ask. The answer was not usually but they would try to have a dozen oysters on the half shell for me (no promises of course). When our party of 2 arrived we had amazing oysters! They were so good!!!!! Thank you to the chef and staff who made that happen. Everything was wonderful, the food, the ambience and the service, again thank you. It is a tough time for restaurants during covid and my heart goes out to all of them. I recommend reservations and trying to go during less peak times.

Helped a friend celebrate her 60th birthday last night at Da Maurizio. Five star service, thank you Kelly; fantastic food; fun atmosphere; and an all around great eating experience. Thank you Kelly (our server) for making such a great fuss over the birthday girl, while meeting the needs of everyone at the table. I will not hesitate to refer this special place to others.
