Great place to hear the Gospel preached in truth.

We were from out of town, and worshipped at Covenant church on a Sunday in the summer of 2017. The congregation was very warm and welcoming, the preacher was a humble man, the preaching was direct, convicting and comforting. Highly recommended!

A church where the Bible is taught in it's entirety without wavering, and where the love of the elders and members is clearly seen. Our weekly church lunch is pretty nice too!

When my husband and I were initially searching for bible believing churches, we were concerned about finding a pastor that preaches the whole counsel of God. We were essentially looking for a place without all the "fluff" that is typical of Sunday morning at many churches. The worship is extremely simple; we sing Psalms; and I once heard someone rightly describe Rev. Shearouse's preaching is "mining the scriptures." If you are looking for a place where the scriptures are faithfully exposited and where the worship is not about bringing our own ideas and inventions to God, then you will be very pleased to worship here. If you are not currently a "church goer," I encourage you to visit as well. The preaching is still very down-to-earth and understandable, but at the same time (in today's terms) not "dumbed-down." The people are very welcoming and friendly... and I did I mention that there is lots of FOOD?!
