I am currently visiting from Vancouver for several weeks and discovered that one of the pickup screws on my bass had stripped out the wood during the flight over. I was hoping to be able to use this bass to record some demo tracks while in Ontario but realized that some of the guitar shops might take weeks before they get around to repairing it. I looked online and found Raso Guitar Repairs was nearby and read all of the great reviews praising Kris' great work and fast turn around time on various guitar repairs. I gave him a call and he said he would have the repair done by the next day and would also drop it off to me in Campbellville. As people have already stated, he is super friendly, a great craftsman and his service is second to none. I will definitely be recommending him to all my friends living in Southern Ontario.

I cannot say enough about the quality of work done by Raso Guitar Repair. First, the bridge on my Manuel Rodríguez FC India classical guitar popped off the body and Kris was able to reattach the bridge. Not only is the bridge secured more solid than it was factory, Kris’ superior work shows no sign that the bridge was repaired leaving not a single mark. Second, I purchased a new American Original '60s Stratocaster and left it with Raso Guitar Repair for the initial setup. I could not be happier with how meticulous Kris was, with ensuring nothing was overlooked. Fantastic job at a reasonable price and I would HIGHLY recommend Raso Guitar Repair to anyone
Kris is THE MAN. I received a very beat up old bass guitar for free from a friend, the kind of thing you would typically see at a pawn shop. Since the action on it was terrible I figured that I would leave it with Kris, all I asked for was for him to change the strings and make it play better. However, when I went to pick it up not only did it play and feel perfect, but he had taken it upon himself to file down the sharp fret ends and fix a grounding issue where the ground lead had ripped off the tone pot. At the end of it all he still charged me his regular flat rate too (which is very low by the way, especially considering how good his work is). I highly recommend this guy
I was looking for an alternative to handing over my beloved guitars to an inexperienced person at L&M where I would kiss my guitar goodbye for weeks (sometimes months) and get charged an astronomical amount of money for sub par work. Luckily I found Kris Raso! Kris KNOWS his stuff! I now have someone who is experienced working with very high end and collectible guitars as well my Partscasters which I love just as much. Kris is super friendly, has a great sense of humor, but most importantly his work is fantastic. He goes that extra mile to make sure I get my guitars back within an agreed upon time frame and the work he does goes beyond my expectations. His rates are significantly lower than L&M and you can totally trust him with just about any job you throw at him. Wish I found Kris years ago. He's the Best around!
I have made use of Kris Raso to do set up work on my Basses. Kris is quick, kind and very reasonable with his pricing. If you care about your instrument and want a very specific set up from a truly experienced technician, contact Kris. You will be beyond impressed!

I gave my guitar to Raso Guitar Repair for them to do a clean up of my electric guitar. I can say with absolute confidence that i am more than happy with the outcome! I got my guitar back extremely quick! and it looked brand new! Kris treated my guitar with the same love as he would one of their own! Hands down the greatest staff as well!
This is the only shop I’d trust to work on my guitars – I would give Kris six stars if I could! Always professional and friendly service. Coming from a family of talented musicians, you know that Kris will treat your guitar with care. Location is central, and parking is always available. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
