I have recently had nothing but great experiences with PT Health and their staff. The admin staff are always friendly. Their physiotherapist, Calvin Mills, is fabulous. If you are looking for a physiotherapist who will create an effective plan to treat your issue, he is the one. He took the time to ask about my desk setup at work and gave great suggestions for adjustments to it to lessen the strain on my shoulder. He always explains what he is doing and why. He checks to make sure any joint or muscle manipulation is not too painful. His attentiveness to making sure any exercise I am doing is correct not only in type of exercise but also the details of how I am doing it is much appreciated. My shoulder has gone from stabbing pain with burning nerve pain and barely being able to move it to a full range of motion and pain free. He always check to make sure I understand his instructions, answers any questions and never makes me feel rushed or that I am wasting my time. I have recommended him to several people, including my mother. He is an asset to the valley’s physiotherapy community. He is knowledgeable, professional, personable and approachable. I really can not recommend him enough.

Initially the assessment went well. The first few treatments were good but not making any headway with my pain. I had another therapist took over during the holiday season and I felt he demeaned me putting me down for not doing exercises. He told me I needed to change chairs at my desk at home and get extension cords for my computer. Seriously you don't use extension cords on a hard drive computer. One session with him I had my muscles jumping in my arm and after the session I couldn't even move my arm to get my coat on. It's obvious that the team does not have any idea if I had future days scheduled after my last appointment because they didn't suggest to book more, nor has anyone called me. I just sort of vanished in the woodwork.

I first came to Greenwood Physiotherapy on the recommendation from a coworker/friend who was currently being treated by their physiotherapist, Heather Parker. I’d recently sustained a knee injury from hockey and am thankful I took his advice because Heather and her staff were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable in their fields and I knew right away I was in good hands. Unfortunately, 4 months later, my injury was discovered to be more serious than I thought with surgery booked that day. I ended up requiring a complete left knee joint replacement so after my surgery I returned to Heather for her help and she didn’t disappoint me. Then two months into my treatments the covid 19 crisis hit us and without skipping a beat tele-physio was born. With Heather’s help we did biweekly telephysio sessions and I made a complete recovery. I’m told I’m the first member in the history of Emergency Medical Care Inc to return to active duty after a complete knee joint replacement. I start back to work tomorrow, September 9, 2020 at 06:30.
