I reserved a 26 ft truck a week before hand and 2 days before moving I hear they gave it away. They stuck me with a 15 ft which will now make the move take twice as long. What good is a reservation if it's just thrown out

HORRIBLE service! I called to reserve an enclosed trailer about 5 days before I need it. The man who was taking my reservation (I’m sure the manager) spoke extremely fast and continued to cut me off everytime I spoke. I told him we needed an enclosed TRAILER. When I tried to tell him what we needed to fit in it (a king size bed) as I was not sure what size we needed he loudly interrupted, speaking over me, “WHAT SIZE?”. Since he had no patience for me apparently I told him I didn’t know. He gave me two sizes “10 or 15”. I chose 15 as I was was told by another Uhaul dealership previously I probably needed a 12. We made the reservation and I thanked him although the whole phone call was terrible with this man. We finalized our plans with everyone else that relied on the trailer and went to pick it up on Saturday. As we pulled into the Skyways motel/uhaul parking lot we noticed there were no trailers but instead, big trucks. We couldn’t take a truck as we had a child in a car seat. After going inside to talk to the manager, he told us he had reserved us a truck and that he didn’t even have 15 foot enclosed trailers. He proceeded to get defensive and not offer an apology. If he wasn’t so damn busy interrupting his customers, this most likely wouldn’t have happened. We then could not get another enclosed trailer besides the middle of Toronto. We wasted a ton of money on gas, missed out on half of the places we needed to be, and a one day trip turned into a full weekend job because this man could not be polite enough to let his customers speak. We let down a number of people who were relying on us. We never got home until midnight with a young child as well. Get some damn patience or get out of business. Your ignorance cost us majorly. You couldn’t even apologize.
