Monique is great. For outsiders that know nothing about piercings, it may seem more expensive than other shops, but that's because it's Titanium medical grade jewelry (not silver). To add: -She is accepting of folks on the LGBTQ2S spectrum (which sounds rare for folk in Grande Prairie)

We ordered a special piece of jewlery from this business. Of which we had put a down payment of half the cost, is now 2020 and after multiple attempts to contact this business we still do not have our piece of jewlery. I do not recommend this business very unprofessional, never can contact nor does she reply to messages.
Friends made appointments and drove 2.5 hours to grande prairie to go get their ears pierced. They arrived and were told their piercer was not available. So then they booked another appointment and drove another 2.5 hours back home. Now keep in mind, the receptionist told my friends she wasn’t suppose to book appointments in case the piercer still isn’t in. But, she went ahead and booked it anyways.(if she wasn’t suppose to, then why did she do it? What other rules don’t they follow?) So comes the day of their “appointment” they drive the 2.5 hours again, eat some lunch, and show up to their appointment only to be told the piercer still isn’t in. Wasted their whole day, and money, not once. But TWICE! Needless to say my friends went somewhere else. Don’t book here if your from out of town. They won’t guarantee your appointment, and you don’t want to waste your day driving only to be told no. Left two stars because I’d like to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but EXTREMELY unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend to ANYONE out of town! So good job transcendent
Monique and her staff at Transcendent are amazing. As someone who has been getting tattoos and piercings for years, I've had good experiences, and bad experiences, and upon finding Monique for my piercing needs, I would never go anywhere else. She is certified, incredibly knowledgeable, and her shop is clean and professional, while still having such a friendly atmosphere! Remember that piercings are like tattoos - good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good! Monique's work, expertise, and experience are worth every cent, and the jewelry she offers is top notch, insuring you get a great outcome the first time. Whether it's your first piercing or your 50th, Transcendent is definitely the place to go!
Best piercing experience yet! Monique is such an amazing and patient person. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. She explains every detail you’ll need to know about your piercing and what to expect. Hands down best place in town. Not to mention she’s super diligent with infection control! I’ll be coming back for more as always
Had a great experience Monique is fantastic and super friendly. We had a bit of a scheduling conflict but she worked past closing to fill me in which was awesome of her to do. Everything was cleaned to the highest standards and she went above and beyond with aftercare instructions. Definitely recommend her over anyone else I've been to.
Monique went above and beyond. I can't begin to describe how fantastic, informative, and kind her services are. I'm extremely allergic to nickel, and for the first time I can wear something other than gold! They have an amazing selection of body jewelry, and even those first used for piercing are gorgeous and customizable. I can't shut up about the service. I can't recommend them enough.
Haven’t been able to contact anyone from this shop, and they haven’t done anything to remedy the fact that one of my piercings was done crooked. Wanted to be a regular customer, but was very let down.
