Dave & his crew are very knowledgeable & friendly. I purchased a small boat & motor, for less than the big city dealer. Their marine store carries everything you need for fun on the water, life jackets, toys, fishing electronics & boat accessories. The heated storage area is huge & the service center was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend dealing with Dave and his team for your next new or used boat purchase. Dave and his staff gained my trust after sorting out a fuel issue on a used boat I purchased recently from them. They made sure everything was working properly as it should be, and went over and above what other marinas typically do. I was unable to do my water test as this boat was purchased in the late fall/early winter and it was too cold. So they winterized, shrink wrapped, and stored my new purchase for FREE, and scheduled the test for the spring. Amazing service! I have dealt with other dealers and marinas-where sales people are interested in making a sale and nothing else, and at Southwest Marine they go over and above and its obvious how much they care to see you happy. I took a boat in to get serviced after a couple years of not being used and I was quoted that it would cost around 100 for their regular check over and that they would contact me before any additional work was done. I didn’t hear from them for a couple weeks so I called them back and they told me that it was ready to be picked up. I was told over the phone that it was going to be around 330. When I went in to pick up the boat, the invoice came out to be 440. When I voiced my concern that I was quoted an amount significantly less and that I was told someone would contact me if additional work needed to be done, they apologized but could not explain the reason for the increase and did not lower the bill. While they were able to get the boat running again, I felt like I was misled when I dropped the boat off and taken advantage of when they didn’t consult me about the work they were going to perform and inflated the prices after the work was done. They are very friendly and I am happy with the work they performed, i am just extremely disappointed with how they handled the invoicing and communication process.
