Thanks to Higher Ground, I could continue ski touring with my favorite boots. One rivet had to be replaced, Cody was super friendly and in the end, I got the replacement for free! Highly appreciated!

I was looking for a hot drink in Golden after a long day of hiking and stumbled upon the Handle Bar located inside Higher Ground! Great little spot for a drink, it looks like they've got a good selection of outdoors gear to browse (including my favourite, Smart Wool). Will visit again next time I am in town :)

Went to Higher Ground to rent snow shoes (which I did) and left the next day with a pair of Rossignol Sky 7s. The team in the shop is great to work with - they know their stuff and give you good advise rather than trying to push a sale. For me a perfect local place to go to for excellent service and honest business.

Always quick, friendly and accurate service. This time, Lolli hooked me up with a ski boot repair. 3 minutes,BOOM! I was on my way. FYI, I DO NOT have ski boot feet. The team suggest I resold my liners. Eh voila! I have happy feet in my boots and actually dont grind my teeth in pain as I descend!! Keep up the great work!

Stopped by on our third leg of the golden triangle to grab some air. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Store appears like many small town bike shops with a woodsy feel.
