Ruffin's is by far my favourite place in town to get all my pet needs. Staff & management are very knowledgeable & very helpful. They always go out of their way to help you the best that they can. No reason to go anywhere else. Hands down this is the best pet store in Georgetown!

Almost 17 years ago we picked up a beautiful kitten. His name was Pierce. All grey with a white face (like it was dipped in sugar. I cannot even begin to tell you the life that this cat had. My moms first cat, she didn't beleive me at first that this cat would save her life..... but he did. Today was his last day with all of us and we could not he more grateful. He was my sweet sugar face, my cat with attitude however he never gave me a hard time through all my grooming years and years of love for him. A piece of me left today.... I built him a maze of boxes as a kitten, gave him cat stands and hours upon hours of play. I will never forget the day he saw a HAMMER and was a complete enemy (I was hanging pictures) and he lost his kitty cat mind! Always a hilarious memory. My mom is heart broken and so am I. What do we do without our grey and fierce cat?!?!?! Thank you to Ruffins for everything. You saved my mons life.

Small store with BIG heart! About 3 years ago I saw a picture of this beautiful orange cat up for adoption. I was feeling a bit lonely while away at school and decided to at least go in and see him. The staff was great at introducing us and explaining the cost that goes along with owning a cat (because I explained I hadn't owned one before). Three years later I am still buying all his food, litter, and other supplies from Ruffin's! Even though they know me so well (being a regular for 3 years) I am greeted kindly and offered helped every time I go in. :) If I can put it simply, the staff really care about their human customers and even more so about the animals they are providing for. If you need help in food education, like I did, they definitely take the time to go over the options in the store and what to watch for in \fake healthy foods\. I love this store, the service, and the environment! :D P.S. My kids are in love with Olivia, the store bird! We respect her space and the three of them just chat it up! Soo cute!
