This is a nice little spot in the Aylmer marina area for a nice relaxing sit down to take in the nice views of the Ottawa River. Naturally it’s more pleasant and comfortable during the warmer months. But the dead of winter has some joys to offer as well. When the river freezes you can walk on the water and even see and hear fishermen sawing through the ice to catch their dinner. It’s cool to see the mini huts out in the ice. During a nice sunny day it’s even better.

Very cute lighthouse. Beautiful area to stop and appreciate nature and watch the boats.
