Arrive early! The ferry lineup is on the street, and often stretches around the corner, and in the summer, on the weekends, you aren't always guaranteed to get on when you want. It's first come first serve.
a great ferry service that I count on everytime i travel to Gabriola. Fast, safe and clean. A special thanks to the whole crew for outstanding service.
The only way to get on Gabrolia Island is by this ferry. Those residents that live here and work in Nanaimo must take the ferry every day to get to work. For me it was an easy way to get here. Only about 30/40 minutes across,nice views friendly crew.Seems like everyone knows each other.
Could have a better line set-up, but nothing you can really do!
