Had my birthday dinner with my wife here. Each course was tastier than the next - the staff here was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. A safe option for upscale dining during lockdowns. Definitely coming back.

The quality of the food (specifically the steak tartar and octopus) blew my mind. The cocktails were expertly crafted and the amount of knowledge and care that went into making them was truly impressive. I highly recommend this location for anyone who loves food and amazing cocktails!

Drinks are great! Food is delicious, green curry chicken is crispy and juicy. Catfish skewer is my favourite. Decor is beautiful. Ceilings are beautiful. Can't wait for the Grand opening! Gonna be a new hot spot for sure.

An incredible bar that might have picked the wrong neighbourhood. That's the only reason I can think of that might explain why it's not often very busy despite making some of the city's best drinks. Thankfully for us, that means they currently have one of the city's best happy hour specials. 50% off drinks and snacks Tuesday- Sunday all the way until 7PM is pretty incredible for a bar voted as having the city's best cocktails in Now Magazine. The drinks are surprisingly super drinkable despite being pretty spirit forward. I think they stopped serving a drink called "The Departed," which was an incredible blend of rum and mezcal. My current favourite drink is their tequila and mescal drink "Boogie Nights." Check it out quick to take advantage of their amazing specials.

I’ve been to this place a few times now and look forward to my next visit. Service is first class, staff is super friendly and the vibe of the restaurant is on point. We tried a number of cocktails and they were all amazing. Both food and drink items on the menu seem to be updated regularly. We went with the chefs experience which I highly recommend. Very good value for top quality dishes and the chef is not messing around. I returned to Founder for their Hops and Harmony event which was a delightful 4 course dinner paired with 5 featured beers from Collective Arts. The event was very well executed and included short but informative explanations of each pairing. If you like trying new craft beers thoughtfully coupled with a range of contemporary cooking, this is the spot. Hoping the restaurant makes this a regular affair as I would return and recommend to others.

This place is the spot to be on the west end, and for good reason. Great location and everything from the decor to the music and friendly service makes this a great and unpretentious atmosphere. Maybe why the place is always packed every time I go there. Cocktails are amazing and there is a huge variety (love the clever names also). I’m a bit picky so the bartender also took the time to create something delicious based on my preferences. The food here is also sooo good. We went with the chefs experience and it did not disappoint. I ended up returning with some friends for their hops and harmony dinner. It includes a lovely 4 course dinner paired with 5 different and unique craft beers, for a set price of 65. It was the perfect way to spend the evening. Courses included duck wings with orange glaze, ginger and sesame, and braised beef shoulder which melts in your mouth. Great overall experience and hope to be back sometime soon.
