Great for an educational trip for a school. They go above and beyond for schools with tours and activities. I haven't been back with outside of a school trip so I can't say anything about solo tours. But it is a great historic location in Calgary

Really brings to life Calgary’s past, and I love the dedication to minute details that can be easily lost to history, such as the most mundane things back then but are really fascinating to look at from today’s perspective. From the simplest instruction books about daily life to the life that came along the CPR, the place makes you appreciate Calgary more. Hope to see more interactive stuff for kids to meddle with and adults to engage with so that it livens the place a bit more, but other than that, it’s a nice city time capsule.

Great place to spend and hour on groomed cross country ski trails. Very urban feeling, next to the river, walking paths, condos, a dog park...just love it on a sunny day!

Its was a nice place to visit. Very spacious and I guess they're still continuously adding things to the exhibit. Very interesting information but too much reading involve. If you like history, this is a good stop for Calgary.

One of Calgary’s most beautiful pieces of history. Great place to take kids and adults alike.

Went for Canada day. The museum was fantastic. The event could have been planned alittle more around children as advertised, the museum was definitely a sight to be seen though

Very nice place to know about Canada’s history and learn about plants! Get to see how immigrants to Canada were helped upon arrival, the old railway station, prisons, military and even get to dress up and take photos with the costumes!! Enjoy the walk outside with the river’s view and watch the band play live music and even get to try playing the instruments yourself!! Your kids can also get the chance to watch a movie and enjoy some popcorn and chips too! We went on Heritage day and enjoyed everything there completely free of charge!
