Always enjoy this place and the Da Kine bowl! But it's got a bit of bite so have a Big Wave to cool the fire.

We came on vacation from Connecticut in the U.S and we are staying in Niagara Falls. We decided to take a drive and came down to this great restaurant. The food and drinks are amazing and the staff is wonderful. They are so welcoming and so kind hearted. If you have a car this is definitely a place you need to stop and have lunch or dinner. It has a great Hawaiian feel to it.

We went here for lunch. We like to try new places. Prices are very reasonable. The food, we had Haddock, was a good portion. One was ordered with rice and the other with fries. The rice was perfect not sticky and the fries were amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I went here on a 1st date and she dumped me. So, this is what happened... I was starving. I ordered the wings and they were so good that I turned into a kind of "animal". I ordered more wings, and then more wings. I had food all over my face and I didn't respond to a word my date said once the food touched down on the table. Then, since I ate too much, I started to feel a bit bloated and needed to stretch out a bit, so I went outside. About 10-minutes later, still too full to be comfortable I went back in and my date was gone (Presumably, she snuck out the back door). She left a note that said "Thanks but no thanks... Don't call me!". I was upset that the date didn't work out but she did pay the bill. So, if you're going to Mokus, beware, the food might be better than your date.

My son and I had a poor meal experience at Mokus when it first opened; but after a very long time, I thought I'd give it another try on Saturday evening, with my husband and two friends. Our food took a long time to arrive and my (21) grilled fish entree wasn't fully cooked (fish was raw in the middle) and I returned it. I waited patiently for a small piece of fish to be grilled on what I assumed was an already hot restaurant grill. The others at my table finished their meal. We waited a bit longer, and mine still hadn't arrived. I cancelled my meal and we left. First time in my life I have ever left a restaurant without having eaten the meal I ordered. The Manager's excuse was that "The kitchen was slammed by a table of 8 that arrived before you". Apparently they cannot cook for more than 8 people at once on a Saturday evening. This restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food, and the service is poor. Recommend saving your time and money and going elsewhere for dining.
