Such a wonderful shop. Although they have been in this location for years, this was my first visit. I am not much of a knitter but needed some knitting needles and yarn for a charity project I am working on. I was pleased to find a nice selection of wool in stock, and they even had the correct size of knitting needles I needed. And a bonus - the hours they had posted during CoVid were the hours they were actually open - what a pleasant surprise! The owners are incredibly patient and extremely helpful, and they even donated some yarn and needles to the cause. Thank you and I will tell everyone I know about your store.

The folks at SMAY proved to me that great customer service is not dead! I ordered some yarn from them and it was delayed in the mail. When I emailed about it, Bob responded to me promptly and checked in with me every day thereafter, did investigative work with the post to find out when my yarn would be delivered, etc. In a world where so much commerce is so impersonal (especially during a pandemic), it was so lovely to have a nice, supportive experience with this little shop. Thank you!
I had my first shopping experience at 'Spin Me A Yarn' today; it was wonderful! The store is beautiful, has an array of yarn and accessory choices, and the staff were friendly and oh so helpful! One of our small business gems in New Toronto! A new favourite!
