Perfect local place to go for a drink and a meal. This place is within easy walking distance of my home and it's a total go to. The staff is very friendly and accomodating and the food is excellent. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is fun. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice afternoon/night. Other good points to mention is that there is a lot of parking and the establishment itself is really spacious. You will never ever feel crowded which is good news especially during these difficult times.
London Gate has been a fantastic restaurant since it first opened a couple of years ago. The food is awesome, from typical pub food to Indian styled dishes. I've always loved the fact that the chef can do traditional meat dishes, like butter 'chicken' or buffalo 'chicken' wraps in a vegetarian version. I chose to give up meat many years ago but can now indulge in the delicious dishes that my meat loving friends also enjoy! As much as I have always loved this restaurant it has become even more important to me during covid. With its large patio, well spaced indoor seating and helpful, sanitary and respectful staff it is now my number one go to. I love this place.

My wife and I decided to come here for lunch yesterday and there was no issue getting a table on the patio... The food was excellent. I had their lamb burger which was by far, one of the most juiciest and flavourful burgers I've ever had in my life. The fries were nice, perfectly cooked and delicious. My wife had the fried calamari which was nice and crispy. The only suggestion I would make to the servings, is to try to be a little more generous with the dipping sauce. The portion sizes were generous, however the dipping sauce for the calamari came in a container that you could use for dispensing children's medicine. Also, there was only one thin slice of lemon for spritzing onto the calamari. Also, while we were walking to the table in the patio area to seat ourselves, my wife stepped on a stray nail that penetrated through the sole of her running shoe and just managed to pierce the sole of her foot. That added a bit of a negative feel to an otherwise wonderful lunch. PS: I highly recommend the grapefruit beer that they serve there...
