Was in there for the first time today, and was blown away by how great the experience was. I had a bunch of questions about grading orders, I wanted to hunt down older key slabs, I was also trying to find a few bulk bin old issues, as well as find variant covers for brand new comics that just came out this month. I also was looking to sell old key issues, and trade some bulk chaff... ...Basically, I needed to do every single thing that a comic collector does, but all at once. And, not only did the fellow help me do every single thing on this list, but he answered every question I had along the way. It's, sadly, all too common in these hobby circles for folks to condescend to people asking questions (or whom accidentally saying the wrong thing), and not once did that happen - even when I said some wrong stuff. He was just an excellent person and shopkeeper from end to end. He helped me find everything, even digging through bins, and wrote down all the issues we couldn't find before I even asked, just incase I wanted him to keep an eye out for me. The place was clean, well organized, and well stocked, and unlike 90% of comic shops around, didn't feel cramped. I've been to a lot of shops in my day, and if my next experience here is even half as good as this first visit, I'd say this is one of the best shops in the city. **Update: 3 visits later, it remains just as good!**
Easily one of my favourite comic shops not just in Edmonton but in Western Canada. Paul the owner is super knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. I’ve bought comics and sold comics at his store. I found selling my comics to Paul was a pleasant transaction. He takes the time to explain his offer and reasoning behind it. His knowledge of not only new series to read but regarding older comics is fantastic. I look forward to hunting for comics in his shop. I’ve also brought some of my comics in to be graded and pressed. Looking forward to seeing how that process goes. We have issues has no issues when it comes to costumer service. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in comics and anything pop culture.
Great comic and collectibles shop. Where I go for my back issues and modern comics. Lots of slabs as well!
This is my favourite shop in Edmonton! The owner is very welcoming and helpful. There is a wide selection of comics and collectibles for reasonable prices. I love the new location!
