After a two week escapade across the beautiful landscape of Canada from Ontario to Vancouver Island with minimal to no mechanical issue we ran into some trouble on the way back. Needing to get back to Ontario to help with the Red Lake forest fires ongoing we opted to drive through the night and push for home, Outside of Edmonton near Wildwood Alberta we had a bearing explode on our pop up tent trailer at 2:30am, after a careful drive to Edmonton we stopped for the night and began searching options first thing in the morning, Canadian tire was absolutely 0 help and seemed like we were more of a bother to them, Princess auto didn’t have any functional options, various Trailer and RV repair shops had no help to offer, we discovered Standen, after a brief call they knew right away what we needed, walked into their location and right away Matt knew the model numbers, sizing, price and all information about the Dexter 7” outside hub assembly required for our unit quickly realized we needed the 1 1/16” inside shafting and the gentlemen at the front desk was very courteous and easy to talk too (didn’t remember his name but great guy) such a pleasure to talk to people who are willing to help in a pinch and are knowledgeable about their work and stock. All around I would recommend Standen to anybody and if I’m ever back through the area I’ll owe them a coffee or two (when Covid subsides) thanks again to these dudes and wish them all the success in the future
I called looking for a hard to find trailer part for a boat and they had it. I dealt with Mathew over the phone. He knew exactly what I was looking for and even had an idea about the application. Very pleased with his knowledge and customer service. When I came to the store I was greeted promptly. Mathew had my parts pulled and waiting. I was in and out in less than 1 minute. Thanks Mathew!
