I hired Ron in September ‘20. I first consulted with him based on his reviews, and hired him based on his upfront, no nonsense attitude. It was apparent immediately that I was in good hands with Ron. He worked hard to protect my and my daughter’s best interests, and it was wonderful to sit back, relax, and know that everything was being taken care of by an experienced lawyer. Ron was aggressive when he needed to be with the opposing party, and he was confident, knowledgeable, and well-spoken in court. Ron is extremely upfront about his costs, and tended to bill every month or two. While my own custody matter was in-depth and costly, I feel I was billed fairly given the sheer volume of materials submitted by the other party, as well as the time sunk due to the other party’s inexperience as a self-represented litigant. I would absolutely recommend Ron’s services to anyone in need of a family lawyer, especially if dealing with a bullying/manipulative/narcissistic ex-partner. Ron was very clear from the beginning about what kind of result I could expect, and what I got was what he foresaw from the start. My daughter and I are very happy with the way things turned out! After a drawn out court case, Ron kept me focused on the goal at hand and what was attainable. Fathers don’t have a good track record within the court system getting anything in their favour, I was awarded primary, so I have only positive comments to give in a process that was brutal to say the least. I would highly recommend Ron and his vast knowledge of the family court system, and his no nonsense approach to an end result that I am more than happy with. My Son retained Ron as a lawyer in September when my son's girlfriend left with their 6 week old baby girl and withheld access from my son. Ron was awesome in how he took action right away letting us know everything he needed from us to get a court order in place. Our court date was in October and my son got 50/50 custody as well as the same for parenting time! We were extremely happy with how things turned out. His lawyer fees were very reasonable and we even got some of our retainer back after everything was said and done. After dealing with 2 previous lawyers, that couldn't move things forward, Ron turned into a savior. At first, it might seem odd that he works out his home. But his professionalism out-weighs the money that is being wasted on a large firm, in a downtown high-rise. Ron was able to push through settlement on my divorce case and allow me to finally move on with my life. If you are looking for someone that can deliver results, value for dollar, and treat you like a human being, don't waste your time and money on anyone else. I wish I had started with Ron, but was under the impression that the high-priced, large firm lawyers, would be worth the cost, which they are not. He doesn't respect clients enough making me feel like like we are there as a bothersome fly on the wall. I get that they as lawyers charge for everything, but when you first meet them and tell them details that are personal to you, they like a dr, should read your file before you enter into their office and expect them to act in such a way that you can understand them. It's called meeting the client's needs. Not everyone shows their disabilities out for the world to see.
Ron worked hard to help me get more time with my daughter against a very hostile ex a legal council. He was very professional and knew the law well. I highly recommend Ron.
