This is a pretty cool not so hidden spot in Edmonton’s river valley with great views of downtown Edmonton. If it wasn’t for downtown Edmonton in the distance, you would think that you are not even in the city.
This is another awesome little hidden gem with an amazing view of the Edmonton city skyline. If you get the chance to come here and watch the sunrise or sunset, you will not be disappointed. We found this BEFORE it made the news and now it’s a popular little destination. I hope that people keep it the way it is, and don’t ruin the area with graffiti and litter.
It’s a swing on a tree branch on a bank of the North Saskatchewan river. Nothing more nothing less. Swing away at your own risk.
Neat to look at but it will definitely be hard to climb aboard to swing the shores is gone also.
Awesome that it exists! There was homeless tents with occupants above and beside it when we were there. We ignored them and they ignored us.
someone broke the tree and it made the swing break and fall into the river :( i really wanted to go here but couldn’t, fyi the river has risen and it’s too dangerous too go down there! me and my family did see a sign that said do not enter and they’re was a danger hazard but we went in it any way and found out that the tree that the swing was hanging by had fallen down and the swing rope had been broken! i suggest not going here since it’s too risky!
