Impressive first visit! Wow - what great products, what prices!! Perfect for Xmas gift-giving AND stocking stuffers!! Check clearance bins for extra savings!! Plus Cashier Eve was a delight! Love the way Oomomo uses a tray to exchange bills and change for cash purchases (due to COVID--19). Spacious aisles and clear directional arrows made social distancing a breeze. I bought a men's dress shirt for 9 and a Cheek Brush for only 2.50 among other things.

This is a marvelous place - sort of a Japanese dollar store. Thousands of all items - many for the 3 standard price - with Japanese labelling, and that certain Nippon quality that is hard to describe. A nice clean, well-organized store. One-of-a-kind shopping experience.

Every thing here is so cute and practical, and most things are 3. It's hard not to buy more than you came for! The store is clean and well lit, and the staff are helpful and professional.

Weird, wonderful and wacky. The store is a Japanese dollar store. Many products are unique to the Japanese culture so in Edmonton we normally would not see most of the items in the store. this is the second location. Not to say that a lot of the stuff is recognizable because it is but everything is packaged in small sizes and some things like a stir stick is called Mini Muddler or you can get Stainless Steel Soap. It’s cool. The store is well lit and clean.

My favorite place for little kitchen things and storage/organization items but many other things as well. It's a nice open space so you never really bump into other customers. Everything they sell has a nice aesthetic and it's 3 per item unless otherwise marked. Check it out! ️

False advertising of methods for pick up. There is no curb-side pickup for this location. On February 3 at 12:00pm MST, this Oomomo's instagram account Oomomo_alberta advertised the launch of the Edmonton area e-shop with curb-side pickup for orders. Post also stated that a free photo album would be included with any purchase. I ordered some crafting items that I needed and recieved a confirmation of purchase email by on the same day, within 3 hours of the instagram post being published. According to my order number I was within the first 50 orders through the e-shop. I received an email that my order was ready for pickup around noon on Feb 4, but no information on what to actually do for the curbside pickup. I tried calling but the phone line was busy. I waited to see if a secondary email with curbside pickup instructions would come but they did not. I called again around 1pm on Feb 5, this time going to voice mail. I left a message with my name, asking about how curbside pickup works for this store location and left a contact number they could reach me at. I received no call back. I went to pick up my order during the weekend. Oomomo's outside entrance was locked which means customers have to walk through the mall, what I wanted to avoid by using curbside pickup. I tried calling again before going in but got voicemail, so I hung up without leaving a message. Once inside I saw a fairly long line up, so I went to the crafting section to see if I needed any other supplies besides the ones I already ordered. Once the line was gone I went to the customer counter. The actual pick up for my order was fairly quick, but that's because the line up had disappeared. As I was leaving the store I opened the bag given to me, a regular plastic Oomomo bag which had hole ripped on the side seam, and saw my crafting stuff was there but no free photo album that was advertised in the Instagram post. And as I stated at the beginning of this review there is no curb-side pickup.

Variety store that carries a large assortment of household and edible goods at a very affordable price. It's basically a "dollar" store for Japanese stuff. It's from the Daiso group.
